Serbia: Novi Sad, Belgrad - maybe... - 09/15/12 08:30 PM

anyone know people here, who can give me a old bike.
Hello from Novi Sad, Serbia.

I will repair all, if I have to - and try to go this month to Istanbul.
I am right now by boat on the Danube, but it is hardcore exhausted and I love the asphalt,
so because my knee could accept that way of travel - I will try to find a bike.

I have the option to repair all, because I meet some people who openend 10 weeks ago this location.

I did not asked all the young people, if somebody has a second bike... there is the option to use the tools, thats a big favor. I will also ask for a complete bike (kind of trekking) - but also asking here, because could be, that maybe one of you know people here in Novi Sad or Belgrad (what is not so far from here).

Good night.

I got a bike, but I have to face the fact, that I am actually not able to do a bike trip... specially the wind let me understood that I need other clothes.

But, just to update this topic - for you.

All the best.

Just some update:

The Bike Kitchen in Culture Exchange is closed in some way. They deported Simon (the Repair-Guy), his wife and the three kids from Serbia, Visa-Problems. They are now in the states and it is not sure if they will come back.

The same for Susana, the girl from Italy. She got also deported. Same for Lani and her husband. Actually just Anna Powdrill is staying at Culture Exchange, trying to find a solution to run the shop, to continue the great work !

You have my support, see you soon.
From Belgrad.
